In seeking the perfect location for their new project, the Stonegate developers chose the Peatt Road locale for many reasons.

  • Its central location within walking distance to all amenities
  • A complete re-development plan for the roads and infrastructure in the immediate area
  • The new Peatt/Station road project that will bring new roads and sidewalks up Peatt Road and across   Station Road for a quick commute to the revitalized West Shore Town Centre (formally Can West Mall)
  • A newly developed Rail Trail pedestrian walkway that will front the southern property line
  • The developers have also negotiated with Langford for the new Langford Trolley to stop in front of the building for convenient commutes around the area

On Stonegates Design

The developers were looking to design a building that represented the character of the area, with suites focused on spatial awareness, thoughtful layouts and an impressive finish. The primary focus of the design of the building was NOT on efficiency of design, but rather spaciousness of suites and deck space.
Design criteria was set and a well known award winning architectural firm, Vic Davies, was hired. The result was large bright suites with a comfortable layout, and extra large decks that can handle a table and four chairs plus a barbeque.
